Three SPECIAL cups!

We finally got all the guys to bring the cups they got for their birthdays today so we could take a group picture. Dunc got a HUGE cup because he LOVES coffee.  Boo got a little cut because he won't finish even a cup most of the time.  And, Ricky got a funny looking cup because....Well, you know!

More Limoncello!

How blessed are we??? Today we got another Limoncello from our friends in Italy, Rick and Susan.  They know that I love lemon and that we all love sweets! LOL!!!  Thanks Italian Coffee Club!  We appreciate our goodies!

Gingerbread Men!

Hey all!  Christmas is in the air! And what says Christmas more than Gingerbread Men?!? The CC got a treat today when Allison and Tyler brought us our very own personalized G-Peeps (some where girls by the way!). Thanks for the special visit and treats!!!

Torte in Festa

Once again we got a special delivery from Italy in the form of a traditional Italian cake. We at the CC so do appreciate food gifts! I admit, readily, that I have NO idea what Torte en Festa really means. I can only think it means Party Cake? What it tastes like though---is GOOOOOOOD. Imagine a pastry like consistensy with chocolate drizzlied across the top and a chocolate ganache in the middle. Yummy! As you can see from the pictures, no one was complaining! Mother's Day 2009

I just love it when a holiday or birthday falls on CC day. It makes CC that much more special. This CC day was MOTHER'S DAY!!! So, you know who got the special treatement! That's right, N and Pet! The guys did the cooking-if you look close you can see KFC boxes on the table! Ha! N got a Jukebox and Design Studio for her Cricut and Pet got a gift card for Pike's Nursery-that she has already spent!

Fold-a-Sheet

Anyone who knows us or has visited the CC knows that we chase rabbits. What does that mean? One conversation leads to another to another to another and so on. Before you know it, we are talking about something totally unrelated from what we started with. Such was the case yesterday. Only this time-it got serious. Imagine a conversation starting with going to a festival and the next the know you are taking pictures of people folding a sheet! Folding a sheet? Yes, folding a sheet! Something people do every day-a mundane chore-made in to one of the funniest things ever! The pictures just do not do it justice but we did have a good time. It turns out that Hien used to work a production line in a factory where she (and a partner) folded sheets for packaging. Somehow, Pet learned of this and thought it was the coolest thing she had ever seen and wanted everyone else to see-thus a DEMONSTRATION. We all gathered in N and Boo's bedroom to watch. Everyone know how hard it is to fold a fitted sheet-you can never get those corners lined up. But if you have an extra pair of hands (or if you want to run back and forth) you can get a perfect fold ever time the way Hien does it. Check out the new album to see for yourself. Uncle Dunc's B-day 2009

Boy how the days are flying by! I can't believe it, but we have had this new site for almost a year now! In the last month we have missed several CC because our hostess with the mostest has been out of town. We did get together this past Sunday though! And, it was a very special CC! We got to celebrate Uncle Dunc's birthday-which was actually on the 2nd-but when you are THAT OLD what does a few days matter? Ha!!! Of course we had to get him a special gift and you won't believe what we came up with! Yep that is a HUGE coffee cup! I personalized it myself..Micheals' has everything!!! On one side it says "The Dunson Coffee Club April 2, 2009" and on the other side everyone signed it. I think he really liked it!!!
